JANUARY 29 2007
i love this outfit. my camera's battery was on its last leg ... so the shot's a little dark. cestlavie.
original caption:
the lighting in these are real bad. my camera died ... and i can't find the charger :( :worries:
anyway. i got my hairs cut and am wearing it parted a different way.
i've got on a super short dress from forever 21 that i wore to work despite it being colder than a dragon's toenails outside and probably too short to be work appropriate.
i've got on some designer jacket that i super duper scored @ marshall's marked down to $10. military inspired. if my camera hadn't died, i would've taken a better photo that would've shown the details.
i have on 2 pairs of tights - a navy blue pair cause it was cold, and a brown textured pair cause they looked kewliez.
my isaac mizrahi boots were 75% off at target. in a size 8. sometimes you just have fortunate shopping days.
JANUARY 19 2007
this was one of my more festive outfits. i liked this one, particularly.
:)
I took the 2nd photo with the heels - starring one of my puppies (chloe) and ... laundry.
original caption:
happy friday y'all!
i'm wearing a black button up shirt dress from new york and company
i've got on black leggings with white and red hearts!! hearts!! hearts!! those are from marshalls - srs bargains. see my photostream for a close up of the heart leggings. valentine's day is coming! (oh man!)
my belt is from tarjay [target]
my boots are from aldo, and are so warm and FLAT. today was a no heels day.
now, i was wearin several patterns yesterday, but i forgot to take a photo admist all the snow bizness. :( today i only managed to pull out one pattern, but now that my hair is dry i'll add another one in with a headband i think. tune in for next week's theme!
JANUARY 17 2007
continuing this week's theme of mixing patterns!
i really was not sure about this outfit at all when i left this morning. i slept through the alarm clock again ... so running late i threw this together. one can't go wrong with red and black though, right?
my headband has polka dots, and it is from somewhere like claire's.
the red shirt is just a long sleeve stretchy thing, and i think it's by mixit, which is from jcpenny's.
the houndstooth cropped sweater is from wet seal.
the pants are a few seasons old and from banana republic. not sure what you would call that pattern -- it looks like back and forth slashes.
my boots are el cheapo isaac mizrahi from target.
and the piece de resistance (did i spell that right?) is the cape. i got that at the electric blender in durham, nc. i got the buttons at a craft store and sewed them on myself!
ole ;D

this is definitely a success. go team patterns!
the original caption:
got cold y'all!
but i still took my photo outside - cause we just feel better in natural light!
i am continuing this week's theme of mixing patterns.
today we have the following:
plaid jacket from target (only the fancy will do for me!)
polka dot top from forever21 / gadzooks
jeans by mixit from pennys
shoes by dollhouse from ross (BARGASM! this weekend)
god bless high heels. god bless 'em.
this is the week of patterns. we are mixing as many patterns as we can get away with. we are very happy with monday's attempt.
the original caption:
DC Shoes - green zig zag patter with pink flower. Got these for like $5 at Ross or Marshall's or something - BARGASM!
My velvet necklace is from Claire's. Also v. cheap.
The zebra print silver and white top is from Express.
Green top is older and from Old Navy.
The print skirt is from Marshalls, but I am unsure of what the label is - it has fallen off. It was on clearance.
I am hoping to experiment more in the next few weeks with mixing patterns successfully. I've never really tried it before. I consider today's a success!
this was an outfit that i desperately wanted to remove the shorts from, but they worked better than i thought they would. it's all in the attitude!
the original caption:
view the large size for detail!
i wore this to work today, but i wore the shorts b/c i felt like the minidress was too short to be office appropriate
the outfit looks better than i thought it did when i walked out of the house this morning!
boots by beverly feldman and from soho shoes
tights last season target - yellow fishnets
shorts - city shorts from old navy
dress - shoulder buttons from forever 21
necklace - from target
bracelet giant and wooden from i dunno where
hair - from family. thx ;D
admit it. i have the best shoe collection evar.
this was inspired by someone else on wardrobe remix who suggested a puffy sleeve with a vest. success!!
the original caption:
so. i'm wearing a grey and silver vest from ... umm, target. by xhiliration. puffy sleeved shirt the same! (shocking.)
my coolat thang jeans are from jeanstar, which i believe i purchased somewhere in marshall's netherland.
my shoes are from soho shoes and are by my favorite: kenzie.
bracelets from claire's.
SMILE!
for a better view of my sassy boots - please see the next photo in my photostream. voila.
oh - and the sassy boot:
i love this dress. it's comfortable. so much so that i wore it on new years and on the 2nd. my new years resolution was to dress more professionally at the office - we can see that i have failed miserably at that. :)
the original caption:
scuze my disheveled hair. it's decided that "wonky" is a good look for the new year
i've got on a dress by bisou bisou from jc penney
leggings that were amended from tights ... they either shrunk or i great about a foot. or maybe i was just wearing them around my knees before i dunno. cut the toes off HYAH! this merning.
boots by aldo. glasses by - omg is it time to go back to work already?!
ole! friends. ole!
now here is an outfit i was particularly proud of. i love suspenders - they remind me of my grandpa joe.
the original caption:
let's try this again then shall we? see. much better with dried hair and after caffeine.
i am wearing ...
my tshirt was originally plain ol' black, but a local artist friend of mine (ab1e) stenciled a design on for me. he's got plans for more where this came from i hear. better close ups of it are available in this set.
my red suspenders with the heart on the back are from urban outfitters. srry you can't see the heart so well - you can check my other fotos for that :D
my black pants with the zippers on the front are from the guess? oulet and have been all over the world and even been taken up a few sizes.
my bracelets are from claire's.
my sneakers are puma. my sneaker game isn't to be missed. other fotos of those are also in this set. HEEYAH.
haa chaa.
i still can't decide if this outfit was a success or not. i have since gotten rid of the sweater dress. it didn't look as good as i was hoping it would - the collar bothered me especially.
the original caption:
i have on so many layers because it's cold outside! HOORAY! :)
the sweater dress is from jc penney, and i forgot to take a detail shot of the back (oops)
the black long sleeved shirt is from old navy
the belt is by mixit and from penney's
the leggings are from express - on sale HA CHA
the boots are from old navy - yes. boots from old navy. i know. i admitted it.
the earrings are little birdies that are from claire's (urban outfitters knock off)
the jacket is by morbid threads ... and i can't remember where in the world it's from
the little purse has skulls in bows on it and a big red bow in the center - it's from journey's.
this was one of my most favorite creations! i love wearing tall socks with a boot. i should search for more dresses that are appropriate.
the original caption:
i'm wearing a black eyelet dress that is so preppy it hurts to have it in my wardrobe
but i've remixed it by adding a black lace button up top on top
i really need someone to help me take photos bc you can't see any of the detail :(
if you go to my w_r album you can see some of the details a little better
i'm wearing my new fave dr. scholl's boots - so comfy
purple plaid socks from target
the lace top is from guess?
the necklace is from a random store somewhere out there
bracelets from claire's
watch by dkny (standard)

here we see an outfit that was one of my first as a participant of wardrobe remix.
here is the original caption from this day's photo:
i've still got to find a good place to take photos at - my office isn't the best b/g. it's also difficult to get a full body shot - y'all can't see my headband.
i threw this on before rushing out the door ... one too many margaritas always makes me late on wednesdays.
hopefully i can get a better picture this evening.
anyway.
